Our History

Founded in 2005,RUTHERFORD UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY was established with a clear vision: to address the growing demand for skilled professionals in science and technology sectors across the region. From humble beginnings, RUST has grown into a vibrant academic community, continually expanding its programs, research capabilities, and global partnerships.

Over the years, we have celebrated numerous milestones, including the establishment of our cutting-edge research labs, the launch of interdisciplinary programs, and the graduation of thousands of alumni who are now making significant contributions in various fields worldwide.
